Top 10 list of Bohol's vote-richest towns

TAGBILARAN CITY, May 9 (PIA)--This late into the elections when everyone is looking at the run-away leader and how he is pulling away, it might be noteworthy to know Bohol's town with the biggest voters. 

The honor goes to Tagbilaran City which claims of 59, 949 voters in 83 clustered precincts from its 15 districts, according to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

A data following the November 16 Election Registration Board (ERB) hearing provided by the Bohol COMELEC Office also revealed that after Tagbilaran City is Ubay, Bohol which has 41, 792 voters spread out in 73 clustered precincts located in 45 polling places all over town. 

On third most vote-rich town in Bohol is Talibon with 33, 211 voters in 57 clustered precincts all over 27 polling places. 

Fourth is at 29, 767 voters for Carmen. The town has 47 clustered precincts in 29 polling places, as to COMELEC.

On fifth place is Loon with 27, 676 voters scattered in 73 clustered precincts in 61 polling centers.

Sixth vote-rich town is Dauis with 26, 470 with 39 clustered precincts in 12 polling centers. 

Seventh is Tubigon with 26, 394 voters spread out in 48 clustered precincts of 31 polling places.

On eighth position is Inabanga with 25, 979 voters in 54 clustered precincts in 48 polling places. 

Guindulman sits in ninth place with 20, 529 voters anywhere in the 36 clustered precincts in 18 polling hubs. 

On tenth place is Jagna with 20, 459 voters, 41 clustered precincts with 32 polling places. 

Calape is just 10 registered voters' shy of Jagna. 

Meanwhile, towns with smallest number of voters are Sikatuna (4, 647), Corella (5, 140), San Isidro (6, 509), Alburquerque (6, 698), Lila (6, 835), Sevilla (7, 156), Batuan (8, 359), Antequera (8, 691) and Dimiao (9, 965). (rac/PIA7/Bohol)
